"These books with Lego mini figures are so very popular with kids. The one Lego mini figure just makes the kit! Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the Lego mini figure books. Boys just absolutely love them. This especially is a great gift because it comes with more than 150 stickers. I mean, what could be better than 150 stickers and a Lego miniature?!! Also, included is a guide about the Lego Batman movie. The guide isn't going to win a Pulitzer, but it's at least going to get a kid to read. That definitely counts for something--at least in my book."

"Missing in the title of this product is an important detail: This is a sticker book. and as such its also kind of an activity book. They do give you a minifig for your own enjoyment. I would recommend that if you are taking a long plane flight, or a long car trip, that you provide this book with a "low piece count" lego set and encourage some play time when not reading the book. the book can also make a decent work surface, when open, for holding parts because they go into the middle of the book and are not as affected by the car taking corners. If it sounds like I'm trying hard to make it work, well, i am. If you've been on a long car trip, then you know what I mean."

"The Lego Batman Movie: The Essential Collection comes with a hardcover book with information on the characters, vehicles and locations of the Batman Lego movie, a sticker book and a Penguin Lego minifigure. The packaging states that this is an exclusive minfigure and I honestly am not an expert enough to validate or refute this claim. I do like how the Lego books come with minifigures (my kids do as well) but sometimes the figure is a common one or very similar to one that is in many other sets, so I appreciate the effort that this book has an exclusive figure.

The book is made by DK and the quality is great. It has enough to keep children’s attention and photography is superb. The overall price of this package is great worth it for this book alone, but there is more. The sticker book has the same series of stickers twice, with one set being considered extra. They are nice, but I would rather have more Lego bricks included instead of stickers. Overall, this is a very nice package and it is at a reasonable price."
